Marthe joined Ekelmans & Meijer Advocaten as a lawyer in January 2018. Before that she worked as a lawyer in Rotterdam for almost four years. Marthe works in the Insurance and Liability practice group. She advises and conducts legal proceedings on various types of insurance and liability matters. She has wide experience in matters such as cover disputes, recourse issues, cases of professional liability and disputes about the execution of construction projects.

Education
Marthe studied Dutch law at the Radboud University Nijmegen, where she completed the research master's programme Business and Law in 2013. During her studies she also followed a number of French and international law subjects at L'Université Paris Descartes in Paris. She was sworn in as a lawyer in January 2014. After completing the professional training programme for lawyers, she followed the Insurance Law Course at the Academie voor de Rechtspraktijk.
 
Work Experience
During her study, Marthe did a traineeship at Pels Rijcken & Droogleever Fortuijn and the Enterprise Court of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal. After her study, she joined Loyens & Loeff in Rotterdam where she handled matters in the field of insurance and liability law, general contract law and construction law.
