Ingetje Wielenga

Ingetje works in the Employment Law practice group. She defends her clients’ interests with considerable energy and enthusiasm. She sees it as a challenge to come up with practical solutions in complex legal cases.
 
Ingetje Wielenga has worked for Ekelmans & Meijer since 2015. She is a member of the Employment Law practice group, where she deals with all aspects of employment law. Her clients primarily consist of employers. Ingetje is co-author of the book WWZ in modellen, which gives a practical introduction to the Work and (Job) Security Act.

Some of the subjects on which Ingetje has recently given advice are group and individual dismissals, employment contracts, the abolition of the Declaration of Independent Contractor Status (the ‘VAR’), non-standard clauses, and terms and conditions of employment.

Education
Ingetje studied Dutch law at Leiden University. She completed her Master’s in employment law at the Erasmus University Rotterdam in May 2015. In 2004 Ingetje obtained a Bachelor’s in dance at the Rotterdam Dance Academy.

Work Experience
While at university, Ingetje worked as a know-how associate for the law firm Dingemans Vanderkind. She also taught yoga. Ingetje worked in various dance companies, both in the Netherlands and abroad, prior to embarking on a legal career.
